Hello! Welcome to our new Homestead… please join us on our journey into self sufficiency, homesteading and becoming financially independent. Right from the beginning!
We are so excited to begin this journey on our new homestead. We got the keys, a bit(lot) later than planned. It was a difficult morning, mainly because we didn’t really plan how we were going to move Glens fish… Then we sat around for an hour because our solicitors were low staffed and on the phone so we had no idea if we could leave our house or not.
Once we got the phone call though we only had about three miles to drive.
When we arrived it was a bit overwhelming but we had the campervan to sleep in so we set up beds for the dogs, collected fish and chips for tea, had a celebratory drink and went to sleep! Here is the house on moving day, enjoy a look around!
The crackers, pasta and mobile phone on the side are mine! Everything else was left behind.
A quick hoover so the dogs won’t eat anything they shouldn’t!
The Quality Street were empty!
You can’t really tell but these are the steepest stairs ever! The hand rail had been taken off to get the furniture out.
This will be mine and Gareths bedroom…
This will be Mum and Dads bedroom.
We used a LOT of bleach in here!!
As you can see we have a lot to keep us going the next few weeks to get everything ready for Christmas, stay tuned for weekly updates on how we get on!
